A million and a half minutes of delays in a year on GWR trains – and there’s only half a million minutes a year – Bristol Live
GWR bosses have admitted the performance of its train franchise has ‘been impacted’ as the total number of delays on the lines in and around Bristol has risen to its highest level in years.
Latest figures from the Office of Rail and Road, the Government body running Britain’s railways, show the service getting worse on GWR’s trains, and the number of complaints about late, cancelled or overcrowded trains rocketing.
The figures, which cover the 12 months to the end of March this year, lay bare in intricate detail just how many times, for how long and why GWR trains were late – and how complaints are rocketing as a result.
Over the past 12 months, the number of complaints made to GWR rose by 61.7 per cent – an increase of almost two-thirds. A million and a half minutes of delays in a year on GWR trains – and there’s only half a million minutes a year – Bristol Live
