First train in Transport for Wales livery makes tracks in North Wales – Daily Post
The red and white carriages will take over services this weekend when the Arriva Trains Wales franchise expires
Rail passengers had a taste of things to come this morning with the arrival of the first train in the new Transport for Wales livery.
The service from Manchester arrived at Llandudno Junction on time in bright sunshine which showed the new red and white scheme at its best.
It was the second day in service for the 100mph Class 175 in the new colours after it emerged from the workshops in Chester at the weekend. On Monday it travelled from Manchester to Milford Haven and back.
Only the exterior has been updated. The interior remains the same although Arriva Trains Wales branding has been crossed out. Arriva branding on the exterior of trains were removed in August. First train in Transport for Wales livery makes tracks in North Wales – Daily Post
